Less than a year after the end of “90210” after five seasons on The CW, AnnaLynne McCord has already found her some other work on a notable TV series. The difference? She’s now swapping America’s most-famous zip code for one of America’s most-famous ranches.
As first reported by ET Online, McCord has signed up for a role as Heather on “Dallas” season 3, which will premiere on TNT early next year. Her character is a ranch hand in her twenties who has already both an ex-husband (one with a checkered past) and also a five-year old son. While her initial connection right now to some of the folks over Southfork Ranch is currently unclear, what we can say is this: When she does end up working around the ranch and her ex shows back up to cause some trouble, Jesse Metcalfe’s character of Christopher is going to get himself involved, and eventually, the two characters will become romantically intertwined.
The series is really starting to get rolling now into season 3, which without a doubt is going to be a very significant one in determining the future. Most of the J.R. Ewing story is now pieced together, and the show can move on now to some other plotlines that further along the famous legacy of the series. We just hope that Heather and some of the other new characters introduced bring something different, and possibly even at times a modern touch to a show that has already been shown by many stories that are rooted pretty firmly in the past.
