‘Masters of Sex’ episode 2 preview: Masters’ new ‘workplace’ (video)

If there are a group of people who you would think to know a thing or two about sex in this day and age, it’d have to be some women otherwise known as the “ladies of the night.” There’s a reason that Dr. William Masters decides to visit them in the video preview below from tonight’s “Masters of Sex” episode, and it’s pretty simple: He wants to try and figure out just what they can bring to the study.

Of course, this situation is a little bit more complicated than just Masters trying to just come into work at a brothel for the time being; there is also the issue that comes along with working in a spot that is illegal to do so, and also trying to convince these ladies that what he is doing there is something that is important and beneficial to them at the same time.

In the end, the sneak peek below tells us, more or less, that the person who he really needs the assistance from in this regard is actually none other than Virginia. She makes it clear to the ladies that they could really be pioneers in the sex study by taking part; Bill’s not weird or creepy, and he’s instead someone genuinely trying to provide something in the way of answers. This is the best way for him to earn an education from women who really know a lot about the subject matter and aren’t afraid to discuss it during a time when it was frowned upon to do so.

Of course, there’s another benefit for these women to go along with this for now: Not only is Dr. Masters promising them health care in return for their services, but he can keep the police away for now.
