‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: New photo, details from Halloween special

Now that we are getting pretty close to the “Pretty Little Liars” Halloween special airing on October 22, doesn’t the time feel right to share a few more chilling details about the hour? This is the backdoor pilot to “Ravenswood,” but in addition to that, the Liars are also trying their best to figure out whether or not Alison DiLaurentis is really still alive, and if they can find her in this down decorated with a myriad of secrets.

First of all, let’s talk fashion, shall we? The image attached here shows Hanna, Spencer, Aria, and Emily like they are characters in a more colorful version of “Downton Abbey.” The official synopsis also teases a little bit when it comes to the story that these four are going to get very much involved with:

“Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer crash the Ravenswood Founders Day Celebration after finding a clue in ‘A’s’ new lair that Ali may indeed be alive. Dressed in their finest Edwardian wear, the ladies hit the creepy cemetery party to find Ali before ‘A’ can. But if Ali is truly alive, could the PLLs be leading ‘A’ straight to their friend without knowing it? With Ezra lurking in the shadows, ‘A’ may be closer than the girls realize. Meanwhile, Caleb heads to Ravenswood to help the girls and meets kindred soul Miranda (Nicole Gale Anderson) along the way.”

While you may be hoping for something dramatic to happen in this episode based on this synopsis, the writers aren’t going to give too much away, rather they will save it for the second half of the season. This should be thought of as a nice bit of Halloween candy before the main course coming in January.
