‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Kaitlyn Black talks Annabeth, Lavon’s new struggles

When “Hart of Dixie” season 3 premieres on The CW come a week from Monday, there are quite a few stories to get to in a very short amount of time. One of them, at least when it comes to Annabeth, is going to simply be a situation where she realizes that she doesn’t have to just take care of her new man in Lavon; she also has to figure out how to care for his cousin Lynly as well.

This new addition shows up early in the season, and in the CW video below, Kaitlyn Black explains that she really wants to be kind to the young woman, since she knows that Lavon cares about. The problem? She makes it very difficult. Lynly is intrusive, insensitive at times, and there are some things that she says that really don’t make a whole lot of sense at all.

For Annabeth, this is going to be both an important and more significant season than either of the previous two. Why is that? First of all, this is the first time that she is a series regular on the show, and her relationship with Lavon in that sense guarantees more screen time. Also, we expect to see her relied upon even more when Jaime King is forced to take some time off due to her pregnancy this fall and part of the spring. There is no word yet as to how Lemon will be written off of the show for the time being, but expect something that allows her to go off and expand her horizons, given that they are painting the woman with a more mature brush these days.
