‘Glee’ season 5 song spoilers: Hear more Beatles music from Darren Criss, Kevin McHale

The cover -Are you ready for tonight’s “Glee” season 5 premiere? We are personally very excited about it, and the videos below are some more of the music that you can possibly expect to hear when the show comes back on the air. The reason that we use the term “possibly” here is because this music is featured on the show’s Beatles album, and there have been some occasions in the past where music from the albums fails to actually make it on the show itself for some reason.

“You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away”(Artie and Kitty) – A really nice rendition of a lesser-known Beatles classic (at least compared to some of the others that are in this episode). It’s short to the point where we’re begging for more, and Kevin McHale does a great job with the vocals. This may actually be our favorite cover from the premiere, even if there are some characters that we enjoy watching more than Kitty.

But after listening to this, isn’t it more obvious than ever that these two could have a romantic subplot coming up soon?

“Help!” (Blaine and Sam) – On the flip side, this cover features Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss singing something that we would certainly not be surprised if it was cut from the actual episode. There just is not that much relevancy when it comes to this song and the plot. While their voices sound good, there is also a little bit of frustration that comes out of this in that it sounds a lot like the original version. As we’ve said time and time again, “Glee” has so many talented people behind the scenes that they only blow us away when they do something different.
