‘Saturday Night Live’ preview: Tina Fey mocks Emmy wardrobe malfunction, ‘Breaking Bad’ finale

Tina Fey is hosting the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, and she is already wasting no time at all showing that she is more than willing to relentlessly mock herself.

In case you haven’t seen, there is already video evidence online showing that she suffered a “wardrobe malfunction” at the Primetime Emmy Awards with her dress. (Sorry folks, we’re not showing you here; this isn’t that kind of site.) However, in the promo below, she has an even bigger “malfunction” when it comes to the her shirt. If nothing else, this certainly proves that Tina is not going to beat herself up forever for something unfortunate that happened.

Meanwhile, Tina and Kenan Thompson (one of the few cast members left who was actually on “SNL” with her years ago) also joke about the “Breaking Bad” finale coming up, and how there is no way that watching this finale will ruin anything for you leading up to this great event in television history. Somehow, though, the two miss out on a chance to joke that Tina actually looks quite a bit like Betsy Brandt in the video, which to us seems like almost a perfect opportunity for the show to spoof the AMC hit. The problem? Nobody else on the cast really looks anything like Walt, and this is a risky year given that so many of the male cast members not named Taran Killam are new to the show now.
