‘Sleepy Hollow’ episode 2 preview: Take a look ahead at what’s next for Ichabod

Sleepy Hollow -Monday night marked the start of Fox’s fall schedule, and also a show in “Sleepy Hollow” that we really think has the potential to be the sleeper hit of the entire year. This was a show that going into it, we thought would fair pretty well. While it’s not a perfect series by any means, it really captured what we want to see in our network shows at this point: A nice dose of fun, and a decent sense of mythology to back it up.

To us, Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie are really the primary reason that this show has gotten off to a strong start, and if you dug their chemistry tonight, you might enjoy more of what is coming up ahead. Take a look below at the video, which features scenes from a number of upcoming episodes. Meanwhile, the synopsis is specifically for the second installment airing next week:

“Still adjusting to his 21st century reality, ICHABOD CRANE (Tom Mison) and Det. ABBIE MILLS (Nicole Beharie) move forward in their mission to unravel the mysteries lurking in Sleepy Hollow. A frightful vision from Ichabod’s former wife, KATRINA (Katia Winter), sends the unlikely duo on the hunt for a vengeful witch from the 1700s who has been awoken by unknown evils and is on a path of destruction in the quaint town. Meanwhile, despite all odds, Officer ANDY BROOKS (John Cho) is back and on a questionable mission of his own in the all-new ‘Blood Moon’ episode of SLEEPY HOLLOW.”

Here’s a little bit of a funny coincident for all of you TV geeks out there. In between Cho and Kal Penn starring on CBS’ “We Are Men,” both Harold and Kumar are going to have a place on the Monday night TV lineup before the middle of October. Who would’ve thought? Sadly, neither one of them will be looking for tasty White Castle burgers.

If you are reading this article without checking out the actual series yet, we implore you to do so. “Sleepy Hollow” is one of the better dramas out this year; as a matter of fact, we even put it in our top five.
