‘Dexter’ season 8, episode 12 preview: First look at series finale, ‘Remember the Monsters?’

It has been a long, crazy, and at times weird journey on “Dexter” season 8 leading up to this point, but next week, the show is going to be at an end with an episode that will serve to answer a few important questions. Is Dexter Morgan and everyone else that he loves going to survive? Also, are we going to see him actually escape from Miami and start anew? There is so much that needs to be tied up, and given how polarizing this season has been, we can pretty much assure you that not everyone is going to be satisfied.

Before we do anything else, though, let’s start things off here by sharing the first synopsis from the episode below:

“Season 8 and the series conclude with Dexter facing impossible odds. With a hurricane threatening Miami, Dexter becomes determined to end things his way.”

In the promo below, you can see a few details about the story as Deb is carried off seemingly on the way to the hospital, and the threats are really closing in all directions. There is a shot of Elway challenging Dexter, and a storm that is raining all over this serial killer’s world. No matter how this episode ends, there is really no doubt here in our mind that no matter what happens here, it is not going to end very well for Dexter Morgan.
