‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Another look at Halloween special, ‘Ravenswood’

More scoop -Just in case you really cannot get enough of “Pretty Little Liars” these days, here’s another new little juicy tidbit from ABC Family to keep you excited for something that really does still feel like it’s far away: The Halloween special airing in just over a month. This is going to mark an opportunity to tie together the events from the summer season (which ended with that stunning “Ezra is A” stunner) and what is coming up in the winter; not only that, but it also marks a chance to tell an interesting story moving into the premiere of “Ravenswood.”

The new promo below captures the feel of both shows, and also continues to do the best job possible of convincing you that this is going to be some sort of two-hour event. Since there really isn’t much in the way of major spoilers in here, one of the things that we want to focus on with this is how the network is going about promoting the spin-off.

For example, is Caleb meant to be the official lead here? We imagine so, since he is in the forefront of the promo for the show. However, what really troubles us about this is that we still don’t know what would get him to up and leave Hanna in Rosewood, knowing that there is a dangerous guy in “A” out there, just so that he could go over to another town in start anew. It’s really an issue in logic for us.

Ultimately, this special is meant to more or less stand on its own. Don’t expect too much of a continuous story, as the second half of the season will deal more with what transpired in the summer.
