‘Burn Notice’ series finale spoilers: What sort of ending can you expect?

Tonight marks a pretty important occasion when it comes to TV. After all, it is the final episode of a show in “Burn Notice” that has long been a staple of USA for almost as long as they have been in the original programming business. Only “Monk” and “Psych” are series that have been around longer, and managed to be successful. (For network historians, Jeffrey Donovan briefly starred on the short-lived series “Touching Evil” on USA before this one.)

So how will the show come to a close? We would be incredibly cruel to sit here and go bit by bit through every major shocker and event. However, TV Guide reports that there is at least going to be a “pretty happy ending” that takes place at the end of this. As a matter of fact, even the death that takes place is heartfelt and offers up a sense of purpose.

While we have our concerns about this just like we do many other finales, we don’t expect a “Lost” sort of ending here where there is heavy symbolism that makes everyone start to wonder and speculate. Instead, we more or less imagine that all important loose ends will be tied up, and we will have an ending that most will be pleased with. At the end of the day, though, there are always going to be those who complain pretty much no matter what.
