If you are someone who likes to follow what happens when it comes to “Glee” production, you are probably very aware of one thing at this point: It’s not a very easy thing to do. Scenes are filmed out of order, and there is often alternating that happens between one episode and the next. Case in point: Even though some filming is being done right now on the Cory Monteith tribute episode, not everything is wrapped yet on the two-part Beatles spectacular that kicks off on Fox Thursday, September 26 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.
In a post on her Twitter account, Lea Michele teases that there could be something fun coming up for her Rachel Berry and Naya Rivera’s Santana, at least when it comes to a dance number (with singing likely included) that will take part during one of these episodes:
“Back at work:) Lots of dancing happening on set today w/ @NayaRivera! #GleeSeason5 #Beatles”
What we know for both Rachel and Santana so far in the episode is this:
1. Lea is going to perform the classic “Yesterday” in the premiere, and it will be a pretty powerful performance that serves as a dark foreshadowing (at least symbolism-wise, regardless of it is intentional) for what comes ahead.
2. The second part will feature Santana singing “Here Comes the Sun” as a duet with Demi Lovato’s Dani. While many Brittana fans aren’t too pleased with there being another woman potentially in Santana’s life, you have to remember that Heather Morris isn’t even going to be available for a while. Why not give this a chance, especially since it would be a shocker if Brittany does not return at all this season.
