‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: The state of Moira Queen

More scoop -In the midst of what has been a nice little flurry of scoop in regards to “Arrow” season 2 over the past several weeks, there has also probably been one thing that has gone a little bit under-reported: What exactly is going to happen to Moira Queen?

At the end of season 1, the character decided to finally fall on her own sword, do the right thing, and turn herself in. While you may applaud her for that, the difficult legal process ahead for her is going to be very interesting to watch. You have to imagine that her legal team will not want her to be locked away forever, and to make matters more interesting, a certain Laurel Lance is going to be working now with the prosecution. Complicated, no? You have to imagine.

As for when you are going to see the meat of this story play out, the seventh episode of the season feels like a pretty good guess. According to SpoilerTV, this episode will be entitled “State v. Queen,” and it is hard to really imagine this quote being about anyone else at all. Could Oliver and Thea be called up to the witness stand, and what would that look like? If you think dealing with Moira is a conflict of interest for Laurel, imagine what it would be like if she is working with Laurel. She and Oliver are not going to be fully together when season 2 starts, and there is a good question as to where they will be by the time we get to this point.
