‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Kevin McHale talks difficult scenes in Cory Monteith tribute

The latest -With “Glee” currently shooting its ever-important tribute episode to Cory Monteith and his character Finn, we understand that there are many questions out there. While we are not going to sit here today and tell you anything specifically that the show plans to do to honor their fallen co-star (mostly because that would be downright awful), we can at least share what one of the actors who knew Cory best is saying about it.

Speaking to TVLine after production on this installment (which first started this past week), Kevin McHale shared some of the following thoughts about one scene in particular that is probably going to break the collective hearts of America when they watch it:

“There are so many incredibly well written and powerful scenes … When [the cast] got the script, we were all reading it together and we were like, ‘Did you get to that one scene.’ And when you see it everyone will know what that one scene is.”

McHale also said that one of the biggest challenges when it comes to making this episode is being sure that the story stays true to the characters. Not all of them are going to process Finn’s death the same way, and some may choose to unfortunately not deal with it at all. This goes in contrast, per the actor, to how so many on the show chose to deal with the tragedy right away and handle it, regardless of however difficult / emotional it might be.

This is the second big story regarding the tribute episode that has come up today. Earlier, we posted a story talking all about Dianna Agron, and why she is not going to be appearing in the tribute for whatever reason.
