‘Game of Thrones’ season 4: See Jack Gleeson be nice (a.k.a. not King Joffrey)

Check it out -If there is one “Game of Thrones” actor that we feel somewhat sorry for when it comes to how they function in the real world, it’s Jack Gleeson. While Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage likely receive some sort of compliment wherever they go for their portrayals of Danaerys and Tyrion, Gleeson probably has to go around most of the time and hear about how terrible he is … and it’s not because he is a terrible actor by any means.

Rather, Gleeson has the difficult challenge of playing a young man in King Joffrey Baratheon who may be one of the most loathed characters on any medium. He’s ruthless, vile, and bratty at the same time. Really, Gleeson does a brilliant job in the role, so much so that it helps to distract you from the fact that his name is just a shade away from being a star of “The Honeymooners.”

What we have for you today is a video opportunity to see that Jack is really a nice grounded guy with no aspirations to constantly behead anyone or call them terrible names. He is appearing below on the Irish TV3 morning show, and the interview starts with some theater talk before eventually transitioning into a chat with his fellow Collapsing Horse Theatre Company members Aaron Heffernan and Eoghan Quinn.

“Game of Thrones” season 4 is currently in production, and if you click here, you can take a look at some other news related to Natalie Dormer and some other cast members.
