Are you ready for romance to be in the air yet again on “Hart of Dixie” season 3? When you think about it, it almost never seems to stop as we transition from one character over to the next.
So while some out there may surely feel like the series is suffering from romantic overload, we are enjoying hearing about the following casting for one simple reason: Confirmation that we are not finished yet with seeing Jaime King’s Lemon on the show for a few episodes, even in spite of her upcoming due date (which will surely put her out of commission for a good chunk of the season).
According to E! News, Patrick Buckley (“90210,” “666 Park Avenue”) is going to be guest-starring on an upcoming episode as a man named Peter, who comes across as rather sweet and has some sort of encounter with Lemon while passing through Bluebell. Given that he is only cast for one episode right now, this may not be a big deal when you look at the grand scheme of things; however, it may help Lemon’s confidence a little bit in the romance department, given that things for her have not exactly been perfect for her the past couple of seasons courtesy of both Lavon and George.
“Hart of Dixie” season 3 premieres on October 7, and Buckley is just one of many new characters who is appearing on the show this season. Also, be on the lookout for such people as Josh Cooke (“Dexter”) and Captain Awesome himself in Ryan McPartlin, along with some returning guests including Laura Bell Bundy.
On the romance front for Zoe, she will be faced once again with a choice that involves Wade and George, and we just hope that this is one romantic subplot that quiets itself for a while.
