‘Ink Master’ season 3, episode 6 preview: Jime takes on Joshua
Yesterday’s episode of “Ink Master” season 3 had us scared for Craig who was in the bottom three for the first time, which was surprising since he has really been the one to beat all season. Seems that the “value” challenge wasn’t Craig’s strong suit.
So what will the artists be focusing on this week? A preview clip over at Spike TV reveals that the flash challenge will have the contestants getting a little wild with their canvases. They will each be assigned a model where they will then have to transform them with body paint into jungle animals focusing their talents on detail. Jime has the opportunity to assign all of the human canvases and saddles Joshua with the hardest one: a porcupine. When Jime hands Joshua the skull with his animal on it, he refuses to take it and Jime puts it on the ground, forcing him to bend down and pick it up out of the dirt.
At this point it’s really hard to feel bad for Joshua because he’s been stirring the pot on purpose, trying to play on people’s emotions to throw them off their game. We’ve seen people use this tactic in the past (not so blatantly though) and it’s worked to a certain degree, but this season no one is shaken by this approach, especially not Jime.
Who do you think is going to win “Ink Master” season 3 and do you think that the battle between Jime and Joshua will get more intense as the season goes on? If you missed this week’s episode and want to know who went home then be sure to check out the story here.
