‘MasterChef’ USA season 4 review: Did Bri, Bemi, or someone else return to the competition?

Tonight’s episode of “MasterChef” was a little bit more about not who is currently in the competition, but instead something else shocking and important: Who is returning to the game. For the second straight season, the show chose to bring back a home cook that was eliminated from the show earlier on in the season. And, just like last time, the results of this were pretty unpredictable.

The first challenge was really all about just narrowing down the field, and trying to figure out who of the group were the real contenders, and who were the pretenders. Basically, we were left in the end with just two cooks in Bri and Bemi, who have both actually been away from the competition for over a week.

What made this battle tonight all the more intense is that these two are people who are cooking with nothing to lose. They have already been eliminated from the kitchen, and they know what that feeling is like and how devastating it is. This was an extremely close vote just to figure out who would be coming back thanks to a blind taste test, and it was a total of four votes against three. In the end, it was none other than Bri who returned! Given that she was a pretty strong cook, this seems to be the right choice. The issue that comes into play now is if she can manage to stay put, and last more than just a week or two.
