Big news: The one reality show that you never wanted to see has now found its way to television. For quite a while now, Brandi Glanville has been the only person involved in the Eddie Cibrian drama with a reality show to her name; plus, she is only a component of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and not the entire picture.
Now, VH1 is ready to bring you a show that will show you how Eddie and his famous new wife in LeAnn Rimes live. They are the only stars of “LeAnn & Eddie,” and we’re sure that this will quickly become the most polarizing reality show of 2014 when it airs. The series is coming to us from Gurney Productions, who are touting their massive muscles right now as the crew responsible for finding the Robertson family on “Duck Dynasty.”
In a statement, Rimes and Cibrian seemed to stress what will likely become a theme of their upcoming show, which is that they are not nearly the same sort of terrible people that you have heard about on the internet:
“We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet who we’re really not. We’re thrilled to partner with VH1 and the Gurneys to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music.”
In the end, we hope that the show really does go for the high road, given that all of the tabloid headlines are a few years in the past. But still, we just don’t see anything exciting about watching them on TV. We’d rather see Eddie acting, and LeAnn singing. There are already enough “get to know us” reality shows for the next century.
