‘The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose’: Chris Siegfried, Desiree Hartsock moving in together

After a pretty shocking episode of “The Bachelorette” Monday night, we then turned to the “After the Final Rose” special. This was the opportunity to really see just how both Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried were doing after a season that was plenty dramatic and then some. As a matter of fact, we don’t know if the internet (who thought Brooks Forester was going to win) has quite recovered from it.

But are Chris and Desiree really happy now after such a long time keeping it silent? It certainly seems like it. The two were clearly overjoyed to be in each other’s presence during the “After the Final Rose” special tonight, with Chris holding no ill will or hard feelings towards Desiree over originally acting as though Brooks was going to be the favorite to win in the end.

Sadly, there was no breaking news tonight as to whether or not there will be a big wedding coming up this year, but these two are clearly making a very serious go at being together in the long-term, as she is moving up to Seattle in order to be with him. They are getting a house together, which allows them to both basically start over and start a new sort of life together as a couple. Thanks to Desiree’s job, she really is able to move around more at her own leisure, and we’re thrilled to hear that she is doing this. Why’s that? It’s simply because it really signifies that she saw this journey as a search to meet someone, and not just a search to find fame and live off of that forever in Los Angeles.
