‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Chris Colfer to have song featured in premiere

Chris ColferAfter a difficult past few weeks, the cast of “Glee” has already started to do some of their first important steps for season 5: Record some music in the studio. In between doing this, attending choreography rehearsals, and then hitting the set to film the scenes, these are easily some of the most complicated things that this show does. Luckily, it should be almost habit for some of the veterans like Chris Colfer now.

Luckily, we now know that Kurt Hummel is for sure going to have some sort of vocal feature during the season 5 premiere! Music producer Alex Anders confirmed in a post on Twitter that Colfer has been in the studio, as has newly-minted series regular Becca Tobin (Kitty).

When it comes to what Kurt will be performing, there are rumors of a Klaine duet taking place (which would make some sense given Blaine’s plans to propose); but we like to err on the side of caution, mostly because there have been occasions where rumors have been slightly off base in the past.

The first two episodes of the season are going to have a Beatles theme, as this has been a massive tribute planned by Ryan Murphy and the “Glee” writing staff almost since the end of last season. There is no word as to if the show will use old footage of Cory Monteith’s Finn in either of these episodes to help transition viewers into a show without Finn, but it will be explored as the weeks progress. (For now, Fox is leaving the option open.)
