‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Meet Lavon’s cousin!

Hart of DixieWho is ready for some more family to come into the world of Bluebell? We’ve already seen some awkward family dynamics on “Hart of Dixie” courtesy of the Breeland crew, and we’re going to see so much more of them soon courtesy of what is going to be happening with Lavon.

According to TVLine, a relatively-unknown actress in Antoinette Robertson has landed the recurring part of Lynly, who is Lavon’s cousin and is going to be wasting no time at all in creating some waves for him. In particular, she will be creating some trouble in his relationship with Annabeth (the newly-promoted Kaitlyn Black) courtesy of her shacking up with Lavon, and thus getting involved in too much of everything that he has going on. After all, this is a character who is described as someone who means well, but ends up becoming somewhat grating when she does not exactly handle things the right way.

This is the latest addition to the show’s cast this season, and it follows up the news that Josh Cooke of “Dexter” fame is going to be appearing in multiple episodes as Joel, a New Yorker who we affectionately like to refer to right about now as the male Zoe, at least based on the description that is already out there. While romance will still be around this year, the plan for now is to make this season as a whole slightly less geared around the subject of love.

What do you think about this casting? As per always, we do want to hear some more of your thoughts on this story below, and you can check out some more news from the “Hart of Dixie” universe just by heading on over to the link here.
