‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 spoilers: Chad Coleman on Tyreese’s inner struggle

An inner look at the character -Are you as excited as we are for more Tyreese on “The Walking Dead” season 4? This is a man that we have appreciated since his arrival, a mine of untapped potential in many ways, especially when you have a guy like Chad Coleman behind the character. Anytime you have someone who was made famous on “The Wire,” there really just needs to be one thought that crosses your mind: How can we put Chad in every scene?

Well, one great thing that we are hearing about already is how the writers of the show are already plotting to ensure that we have more introspection from the man, which seems to be somewhat of a theme for the entire show now that it is being shepherded by Scott M. Gimple. Speaking to TV Guide, Coleman elaborates a little bit more on an inner struggle, and something that really actually questions how much violence there is in a world that really requires it, unfortunately:

“You’ll have an opportunity to witness this man wrestle with the rules of engagement around him and where he fits in that world and his own inner [demons]. To me, it feels like a firm belief in non-violent conflict resolution, but how does that fit in a claustrophobic world? I believe you’ll see him tested and no one goes unscathed.”

Coleman’s biggest challenge at least in the early going will be the walkers, but just like Rick and everyone else, there is still the threat of the Governor looming out there, and it will only be a matter of time before we see what comes of this. (It’s not going to be good, we know that much.)

What do you want to see from Coleman’s character on the fourth season of “The Walking Dead”? We want to hear some more of your thoughts below! If you do want to read a little bit more “Walking Dead”-related news and spoilers, our advice is to just head on over to the link here.
