With the amount of time lately on “Glee” that has been spent trying to mourn the tragic death of Cory Monteith, hearing a few details about the actual show itself may come as somewhat of a relief and a distraction.
With that in mind, we present a slightly-revised list of castings for season 5, and they include a number of different roles that may suggest that Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry is either going to have some new teachers at NYADA, or be spending some time working at a local production. According to TVLine, we’re going to be seeing the following three people on potentially more than one occasion.
1.Roderick Easton – An egotistical man in his forties that has a “theatrical” sort of personality.
2. Jim Elliott – An academic man, both good-looking and intelligent, also in either his forties or fifties.
3. Jurgen – The same age range here, but is from the Germany / Austria region and has an accent to go with it.
One way to speculate here could be by saying that these are the producers that Rachel could be either auditioning for near the end of the “Funny Girl” process, or the executives producing the show who pop in from time to time. Either way, it seems a bit more appropriate that Rachel would get some sort of victory in her professional pursuits, given that she is about to have someone she loves very dearly taken away from her. Rather than making it look like Finn has abandoned the woman that he loves, producers are instead planning to kill him off.
There are also two other roles currently being cast in a school board member and a “nerdy girl,” but there’s no word on if they are recurring or one-episode gigs.
