‘The Bachelorette’ finale spoilers: Brooks Forester, Desiree Hartsock drama ‘explosive’
If you have been looking for your proof that the upcoming super-dramatic moment on “The Bachelorette” happens between Desiree Hartsock and Brooks Forester, we finally have it for you now. While ABC has been completely insistent on not showing off any real footage of this conflict at all in the promos, the validation comes via the incredibly-lengthy synopsis that the network just released about the first part of the finale, and the shocking argument that unfolds that really throws our long-standing frontrunner’s future on the show into jeopardy.
The following is not all of the synopsis that was revealed by ABC, but it is clearly in our mind the part that actually matters the most, given that it could lead the demise of a long-standing favorite:
“Brooks is back with his family in the U.S., torn between his strong feelings for Desiree when he is with her and the insecurities he feels when he is not … Brooks wants to make sure that, if he is the last man standing, that he has the confidence to put an engagement ring on her finger. After his mother and sister express their fondness for Desiree and their thoughts about her being a perfect fit for their large, boisterous family, the bachelor, now with the reassurance he needs, boards the plane for Antigua.
“Desiree is excited to see Brooks and to spend time with him. But first Brooks has a heart-to-heart with Chris Harrison. When some shocking news is shared, Chris insists that the bachelor meet with Desiree. What unfolds is one of the most explosive, dramatic and emotional moments in ‘Bachelorette’ history.”
Will Desiree actually get over this? We’re not going to completely rule out the possibility that the two have a future together. Heck, they could even be engaged today for all we know and the show is just trying as best they can to make this into something more than it really is. All we can say is that it is at least crazy enough to have Desiree in tears; and while this has to be terrible for her, we’ve been practically begging for weeks to have some drama.
