‘Big Brother 15’ live feed spoilers: Elissa’s religion freakout; Helen’s deal with the devil
What a bizarre past few days in the “Big Brother 15” house this has been. Remember when Elissa was the underdog and America’s darling? Well in the matter of a few of days, she’s gone from being likable to somewhat annoying and at times even irrational … including her latest (rather massive) freakout, where she basically decided to go into a huge tizzy with McCrae and Andy over the issue of religion.
Basically, the origin of this fight came when she started to complain about how Howard was using his faith in order to gain an advantage in the game, and as she started to get more and more emotional and loud about it, McCrae and Andy started to laugh. Where they really making fun of Christianity? No. They were mostly just laughing that she was going to out her entire stance on anything and everything to GinaMarie, who was sitting nearby.
Nonetheless, this sent Elissa into complete meltdown mode, lecturing the two guys on being “disrespectful” to her faith and how it was terrible. Amanda tried to get the two to smooth things out, but for a time it didn’t work. Instead, Elissa hilariously wanted to self-evict from the game, saying that she couldn’t live in a house who treated her religion in such a way. She seems to have eventually quieted down somewhat, but not before demanding to talk to production and saying that she was now uncomfortable reading her Bible.
There is only one acceptable response to Elissa’s opinions here: Dan Gheesling. Otherwise known as proof that embracing Christianity to get ahead in the game is not exactly a foreign concept in “Big Brother.”
Also of note tonight was Helen telling Aaryn that she has the votes to stay, and that the house is actually going to blindside Kaitlin. In turn, they want Aaryn to target Howard and Spencer if she wins Head of Household, or to at least help to get them out. It’s possible that the resident racist doesn’t go through with the plan in the future, but she’d be stupid to turn on the people who are going to carry her worthless butt for a few more weeks versus people who want her out now. They also plan to tell Candice at the last second so she will not freak out.
