‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5 spoilers: First hints about premiere

NCIS LAThus far, there has not been much announced at all about the upcoming season of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” though we understand that a certain percentage of this may be due to production starting up recently, and there really not being much time at all to sort out any details.

However, we do still have one important thing to share with you now: The official title for the upcoming season 5 premiere. In a new post on his Instagram page, Eric Christian Olsen confirmed that the name for this hour will be “Ascension.” This is not exactly the most descriptive title of all time, is it? This simple word can really mean a myriad of things, and it is going to be up to some of the stars of the show to try and figure this one out.

First of all, it should be noted that the writer of “Descent” from earlier this year in Frank Military (which is the greatest name you could possibly have while writing on this show) is coming back to do this episode, and it is also being directed by Terrence O’Hara. Sadly, that is all the information that is out there right now. There will probably be some more casting news hitting the web in the coming weeks, but remember that the premiere date of September 24 is still a ways away. A great deal can happen in that span of time.

What do you think about this “NCIS” episode title? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! If you do want to check out some more coverage related to the rest of the season, all you have to do is visit the story over at the link here.
