‘The Good Wife’ season 5 spoilers: ‘Arrested Development’ actor to be a judge

The Good WifeIf there is one thing that we know about “The Good Wife,” it’s this: The show does a pretty tremendous job in the department of casting guest stars. We could start a list of great actors to appear on this show and keep it going for a quite a long time, since it includes the likes of Maura Tierney, Nathan Lane, Michael J. Fox, Carrie Preston, and many more.

So who is the latest actor to join this impressive group? It’s none other than Jeffrey Tambor! According to The Huffington Post, the “Arrested Development” star is going to be appearing on the show’s September 29 premiere, where he is going to play the part of a judge who is going to be fighting the clock in a case that involves the death penalty.

When you are looking for stories that involve some sort of controversy and pop-culture craziness, you are really not going to get any more dramatic than the death-penalty debate. We don’t know how this will unfold on the show, but there are at least a few characters that are going to contain some other sort of strong opinion on this subject.

As for some other things that you are going to see moving forward this season, expect to see a pretty significant storyline in regards to Alicia working on her own with Cary, and tackling some individual cases. It should be interesting, in addition to being a big shift for the show.
