‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Oliver Queen’s latest adventures and a surprise

Just in case you were curious about whether or not “Arrow” season 2 was going to start slow only to build things up later on, we now have an answer for you: It’s looking more likely that they are going to have things going big almost from the get-go, and will just continue to be intense from there on out.

In a new post on Twitter (thanks to Zap2It for the find) talking about something that is going to be coming up on the show in the near future, the CW hit’s stunt coordinator James Bamford promised something that will seemingly have fans talking almost straight out of the gate:

“Big rehearsal taking place today for a big surprise on #Arrow….season 2…..BIG!!!!”

So what could this “surprise” be? It is that word alone that has us even more curious, since it does suggest that there is something coming up that no one will particularly see coming. We typically expect there to be a number of action sequences, villains, romance, and more … so what out there in the world could really cause us to raise an eyebrow? We’re excited to find out.

Production on “Arrow” season 2 is expected to begin in the close to immediate future, with the show returning with new episodes on Wednesday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. While this is still an incredibly long wait, we’re sure that the writers have been working hard to try to make sure that the episodes ahead do everything that they can in order to live up to some massive expectations that have been put out there by fans.
