‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Jayma Mays will still appear despite ‘The Millers’ gig

Jayma MaysFor those of you extremely worried about the future of one Emma Pillsbury on “Glee” season 5 following her promotion to series regular on “The Millers,” we have some news for you: There’s no reason to worry about the character being gone for good.

According to E! News, Mays has been cleared to appear in a few episodes of the Fox show’s fifth season, though there are no details yet as to when these episodes will air, or what in particular they will be about. In case you are wondering how in the world she is managing to pull this off, the answer is built up of a number of components.

1. She’s not the star of “The Millers” on CBS at the end of the day, as that honor instead goes to Will Arnett.

2. Sitcoms do not have the same sort of around-the-clock shooting schedule as some other series do, which gives her a little bit of extra time.

3. Both shows film in Los Angeles, so Jayma does not have to worry so much about travel.

We basically equate the future of Mays to that of Mike O’Malley, who is also starring on a new show in “Welcome to the Family” over on NBC. O’Malley has already confirmed that he is not done playing Burt, even though his schedule may be even more packed considering that he is the star of his show, and that filming is a little more time-consuming considering the multi-camera format.

In case you have to not yet seen the full list of who all is no longer going to be a series regular on “Glee” moving into season 5, our advice is that you head on over to the link here and check it out.
