‘The Bachelorette’ rankings: Brooks Forester still leads Desiree Hartsock’s race for love
Another week, and it’s another journey down a predictable road on Desiree Hartsock’s “The Bachelorette.” While we wish that we could sit here and say that some of these contestant rankings are going to shock you, the reality is that they won’t. What we have here are the same five guys from last week, and in our mind the only five guys with a shot of popping the question to her in the end.
5. Drew Kenney (last week: 5) – He really has not been that impressive, but Drew has almost maintained this position by default given that Michael Garofola screwed himself last week, Kasey Stewart had an incredibly awkward date, and James Case seems to be largely unpopular and that will come out eventually.
4. Juan Pablo Galavis (4) – The fact that Juan Pablo has never had a one-on-one date symbolizes to us that Desiree is not really taking him that seriously, and neither should we. Is he fun? Definitely, but you do have to draw a line in the sand and realize that there is a very distinct difference between being entertaining and attraction to what is real, emotional chemistry.
3. Zak Waddell (3) – Zak has at least shown off a little more vulnerability than the bottom two guys, which puts him a little bit higher on the list than either one of them. We do still need to know more, though, about how he sees Desiree in his life, and is there really going to be room for her in it? He’s going to have to curtain his shirtlessness a little more often if they’re together.
2. Chris Siegfried (2) – While we don’t quite know whether or not Chris would ever make a great “Bachelor” if he does not win this season, we at least do know that he seems to be a pretty nice guy. He handled the whole Bryden Vukasin crisis last week with grace, and sometimes all a girl like Desiree needs is to feel taken care of and concerned for, and he fills that role.
1. Brooks Forester (1) – Just seeing Brooks around her, and how carefree and happy they both seem to be, continues to make this a no-brainer. We wish we could say that that he is part cyborg or has a few secret girlfriends to make this more exciting, but we can’t. The truth is, he’s reallythis far ahead right now.
