‘The X Factor’ USA: Carly Rose Sonenclar’s original song and concert, Demi Lovato news

As we reported about yesterday, Carly Rose Sonenclar had an opportunity to perform her first concert this weekend at the Rye Playland in New York State. If you loved the singer on “The X Factor” season 2, you’re going to love what we have for you here: A pair of songs for you to listen to. (Both of these were posted by Mike Reingold on YouTube after the concert.)

The first song we have here was actually the encore, but it is probably what the most people will be talking about moving forward: A brand-new original song! Carly did not announce the title for it during the show, but was definitely met with an enthusiastic response once it was over. While she is going for a pop sound, it is not the sort of pop that limited her vocally by any means, almost as if you combined Adele with Paramore and a little bit of Demi Lovato. You can check out that clip below, along with a reprisal of her old audition song “Feeling Good.”

Speaking of Demi, the “X Factor” judge recently spoke in an interview with Fashion Magazine about the woman that she was prior to making the decision to enter a treatment facility, and also how it was not the sort of person that parents really wanted their children looking up to … even if she did a good job painting a facade for the world to see:

“I learned that ignorance stood in the way of my insight. I wasn’t really being honest with the way I used to live … I was pretending to be a role model during the day and turning into a wild child at night.”

Demi’s story is one of the more powerful examples out there of the truth setting someone free; ever since she came clean with her struggles to the public, she has become an inspirational figure and symbol of strength to so many.
