‘The X Factor’ USA: Fifth Harmony’s ‘Today Show’ gig; Carly Rose Sonenclar sings Selena Gomez

The X Factor LogoHave you heard the big “X Factor” USA news breaking now? If not, here it is: Fifth Harmony is going to be singing their way to “The Today Show” very soon. The girl group, who placed third on season 2, is the first artist from this past season to grace the NBC morning-show stage. (Emblem3 was on the rival series “Good Morning America” with Little Mix a little earlier on in the summer.) Their performance will take place on July 18, and you can read more about it here.

Fifth Harmony is coming onto the show hoping to continue the early success of their debut single “Miss Movin’ On,” which has over a million views on YouTube already in between the lyric video and the audio that was posted just after the song debuted on Saturday Night Online. The song is looking to make a big splash on radio in the weeks and months ahead, so we’ll keep our finger on the pulse for that.

Carly’s concert – Fifth Harmony is not the only “X Factor” act with big news this weekend, as Carly Rose Sonenclar is getting set for her big concert Saturday night at Rye Playland in Rye, New York. This is her first major concert this summer, and she seems ready to start teasing some of the music that could be a part of it. Could it be possible that this cover of Selena Gomez’s “Come and Get It” is included? After she put it on her WhoSay page, we’re sure that fan excitement has reached some sort of new level.

Want more “X Factor” news? Demi Lovato, who will back as a judge for season 3, recently opened up about her father’s passing in an emotional interview. You can check that out at the link here.
