‘Big Brother 15’ houseguest spotlight: Amanda Zuckerman
You have to at least give the “Big Brother 15” production team some credit: While they clearly want showmances, they are also not afraid this year to cast some strong personalities among the women on their show. There’s only a few people who we see trying to go for that “I’m so sweet” sort of angle, where the others are tough and could be major forces to be reckoned with.
Amanda Zuckerman is clearly one of the women on this season that seems to be playing up a ruthless angle, and if she can get a few people on her side, she could go far. Regardless of if you agree or disagree, we want to hear from you in the poll below! Personality traits – Amanda comes across as very confident, and also ambitious and aggressive. (In her job, you really have to be all three of these things.) But she also claims in her interview with Jeff Schroeder and on CBS.com that she can relate to people well, and will try to connect with them before making her big moves.
Strengths – We get a sense that she understands the “Big Brother” game pretty well, even if she is not the biggest fan of the game ever (which is still more than some of these people who have barely watched it). We also for whatever reason put stock in which the houseguests these newbies are fans of, and Amanda professes to be a big Britney Haynes fan. Were it not for Dan last season, we think that Britney would have won, given the position that she was in, so it’s not a bad choice.
Weaknesses – While she may be a good listener, we wonder if Amanda’s assertiveness is going to come across as too intimidating to some of the other people in the house. Her best bet may actually be to form a female alliance with some of the other big personalities on that side (Elissa and Helen are good options), but we don’t quite know if she will see that.
Early prediction – Amanda’s a player, and someone who is on our early list of people to watch out for as possible winners. We don’t like the flirting strategy so much, but if she can keep herself from being too obvious, she is probably going to be able to influence some of the weaker houseguests, regardless of whether they are guys or girls.
