‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Jessica Sanchez would love to see Frida Romero return
Should “Glee” season 5 get a little bit more of Frida Romero in their lives? If you listen to what Jessica Sanchez has to say, then the answer here is a pretty defiant “yes.” Speaking in a new interview with Wetpaint at the recent Trevor Live! event in New York City (benefiting of course The Trevor Project), the actress said that she hoped to come back as her “legendary” diva on the show in the future, if producers were interested in seeing where her story could go.
As for whether or not Frida could return to the show, this is the same sort of question that has been posed in the past to such people as Charice, who also played a sort of “rival glee club leader” role. The issue is that once the competition season is over or they are not a part of the present storyline, there’s really nothing that you can do with them. Plus, Sanchez also has a busy schedule thanks to performing, recording, and doing radio gigs for her post-“American Idol” debut “Me, You, & the Music.”
Then again, you cannot completely rule out a Sanchez return based on primarily one thing: The show’s own history of bringing back guest stars for larger roles. Just look at Alex Newell as someone who made the most out of a small part. He had a larger role on “Glee” season 4 than the two guys who actually won the first season of “The Glee Project,” and he will surely be back for more next year. As you recall, Newell’s Wade / Unique started as the leader of Vocal Adrenaline, but the show brought him over to New Directions, believing that there was still more they could do with this story.
What’s your take on here: Should Sanchez return? If you’d like to see the latest happenings via Naya Rivera, Lea Michele, and other “Glee” stars, our suggestion is to visit the story over at the link here.
