‘Big Brother 15’ spoilers: Three nominees for eviction confirmed

As it turns out, there are more twists coming up for “Big Brother 15” beyond just having an “MVP” that is voted on by the public: There are also going to be three people nominated for eviction.

The thinking here from CBS’ point of view seems to be simple: They’re tired of the floaters making it far in the game, and want to do something to reward people who legitimately play hard. We don’t know if this twist is really going to help that. Instead, three nominees increases the chance of a big player getting nominated, and fans are going to vote for who they like as the MVP rather than necessarily who plays the best game.

From one standpoint, though, this three nominees twist could be very exciting, given that you have more people legitimately trying to go for the Veto, and also some more strategizing to keep yourself alive. Like with all other twists, the major test that comes via this is going to be time. If it works out well, it could be something that the show keeps around for a while. If it bombs, we anticipate it going away like Redemption Island did in “Survivor” after two seasons of negative reviews.
