‘Glee’ season 5 notes: Chris Colfer on Kurt’s future; Darren Criss on … hair?

Everyone who loves “Glee” is well aware of the popularity of Kurt and Blaine as a couple, and so anytime that you have Chris Colfer and Darren Criss featured in the same article (even when what they are talking about is completely unrelated to each other) is a cause for celebration.

With Colfer in particular here, the subject matter is exciting since it involves some possible scoop on season 5. (Emphasis on the word “possible.”) The actor has been touring all over Europe as of late in an effort to promote his new movie “Struck by Lightning,” and in a new chat in France, he hinted at the possibility of Kurt forming a completely new sort of musical pursuit in the episodes ahead:

“I know Kurt might join a band, and I know that I’ve thrown some ideas at them, so we’ll see if any of my ideas get selected.”

As for the future of Kurt and Blaine, this is a topic that Colfer is not really speaking out very much on. We know that Blaine is planning to propose, but he has to find the right time. Given that the end of the season marked the Will – Emma wedding, it may not be wise to make that his moment.

And now, we move on to Criss; while Darren didn’t have any scoop to give out to Details magazine on the new season, he did talk about all the work producers have to do in order to get his naturally-curly hair down in order to play Blaine:

“I feel terrible for the hairdressers on Glee that have to pour gallons and gallons of gel and goblin’s blood or whatever the hell else they’re getting from the black market to tame my curly hair. Day to day, I stay away from combs… I don’t think I’ve combed my hair in 15 years.”
