‘Nurse Jackie’ season 6: A new video reminder from Showtime
For those of you who are sad that “Nurse Jackie” is over for the season, Showtime is desperate for you to remember one thing: The show is coming back! This is why the network is doing something similar to what they did with “House of Lies” following its season finale a little earlier this year by releasing a video “teaser” of sorts about the show’s return to television.
The new season is clearly very early on in the creative process, and there is therefore quite a bit that can and probably will change between now and then. Since there hasn’t been a single second of new footage shot in the first place, this is all just re-purposed.
One thing that will remain the same is that Clyde Phillips will remain as showrunner after handling the duties successfully in season 5. Changing the faces behind the scenes is something that no series ever wants to do without some sort of thought or consideration behind it, but “Nurse Jackie” seemed to handle it fairly well and showed little sign of creative strife. (If you compare that to Dan Harmon lighting a match and throwing it all over “Community’s” one season without him, which happened over the weekend.)
If you want to check out some more news about some of the changes happening behind the scenes at “Nurse Jackie,” our advice is to head on over to the link here. Also, we welcome all of your thoughts and comments below!
