‘Teen Wolf’ season 3, episode 3 preview: First look at ‘Fireflies’

On Monday night “Teen Wolf” season 3 is going to be back, and it also is going to include a rather big surprise. By the end of the episode, we will have a greater sense of just what is happening with a powerful pack, and we’re also going to have characters shift their alliances, and find help in some places that they probably would have never expected it beforehand.

First of all, we have to comment on the title “Fireflies.” It’s pretty romantic for a supernatural (and violent) show like this, no? Plus, there is also a major part of this that almost immediately reminds us of the Owl City song more than anything else. (Major bonus points if the song is included during the episode, and if there is a dancing robot like there was in the music video.)

When it comes to character specifics, at least two pairs are going to be spending some time together. Check out a brief synopsis below via SpoilerTV:

“Boyd and Cora are under the influence of the full moon; Scott and Derek seek help from an unlikely ally.”

So far this season, “Teen Wolf” has a reason to howl courtesy of its current ratings feast. Can Tyler Posey and company keep it up? Given that they don’t have much competition in this demographic coming up for a while it’s up to the show to maintain the same level of quality.
