‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3: A behind-the-scenes look at Annabeth

We have some good and bad news to share when it comes to the third season of The CW’s “Hart of Dixie.” The good news? It looks like the show is going to have some new promotional photos this season! The bad news? Filming is still light-years away.

Nonetheless, the network has handed out what we like to refer to as a rather nice teaser: The image attached here of Kaitlyn Black, who plays the part of Annabeth. Even though the character is not a series regular yet (at least by our knowledge), she did have a much larger role in season 2. Therefore, why would you not want to show her off a little bit more than you have recently? The photo posted here was first shared by the official Twitter account for the series, and is really one of the first “official” promotional pieces that has been released following the finale that aired early last month.

As for what sort of role we are going to see Annabeth play moving forward, we’re hoping for something interesting with Lavon. We know that she and Lemon are frequently paired off with the character, and regardless of which way the pendulum ends up swinging, we just hope that we are entertained.

The biggest challenge for “Hart of Dixie” moving into the third season is simply going to come courtesy of the schedule. After spending all of the second season airing on Tuesday nights, Monday will be the new destination as a part of the new strangely-matched lineup of this show and “Beauty and the Beast.” Considering how consistent the audience has been here, hopefully it will hold up decently against “The Voice.”
