‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 spoilers: Iwan Rheon on Ramsay Snow’s reign of terror

Game of ThronesEven though Ramsay Snow may not be a king or hold a title of any kind, he has still managed to come up with a rather interesting honor all his own: Being a man that is so demented, Joffrey even pales in comparison. It was not until the “Game of Thrones” season 3 finale that it was officially revealed that Iwan Rheon was playing Roose Bolton’s illegitimate son, but having this knowledge, and seeing what he is done already to Theon Greyjoy in an effort to have him become “Reek”, certainly creates plenty of questions as to what he could do moving forward.

Given that Theon does not really turn up in the books again until A Dance with Dragons (and was added to this season just as a way to bridge the gap), it’s hard to tell for sure just what is going to happen with he and Ramsay moving forward. However, Rheon gave a pretty in-depth account of what Ramsay did to the neglected child of House Greyjoy to Vulture, and it gives you a little bit of insight into what we could see from this character next:

“I think you see in the last scene in the finale, that sort of transformation beginning, because of the mental torture as well as the physical. I really break him down, the poor guy! I think the key to Ramsay is that he’s very sharp and he can manipulate a situation very well. And he can do it all spontaneously. All of a sudden, he gets an idea and he goes with it. He’s very instinctive. He goes with whatever comes into his mind. And he sees the pain that Theon is in, and uses that against him. He’ll give him a wonderful idea of hope, and then take it away and do something really dark. Ramsay’s a very free character. He’s quite enjoying what he’s doing and he’s not contained, he’s not suppressing anything. In a really sick way, it’s almost liberating to be him. There’s loads of wicked stuff an actor can do with him.”

We have no interest in ruining anything here when it comes to the story, but we will confirm the following when it comes to the Ramsay character: He’s not a nice person. (No, really?) Sarcasm aside, he’s not done being horrible just yet.
