‘Anger Management’ season 2 spoilers: LeAnn Rimes next to romance Charlie Sheen

Is this a requirement for all potential “Anger Management” guest stars to hook up with Charlie Sheen’s character? We have no idea, but almost all of them seem to be forced into doing it at some point. (Ask Denise Richards. Or Lindsay Lohan.) Only one day after we first learned that the FX comedy series is going to undergo some serious retooling following a major decline in ratings, we’re now hearing that a certain tabloid fixture is set to make an appearance very soon.

So who is it? It’s none other than LeAnn Rimes! In Touch reports that the country star, who has made more headlines in the past few years for her personal life than her actual music, is set to appear in an episode later this year as the sister of Charlie’s prison-group member Wayne, who he of course strikes up some sort of physical relationship with.

Rimes has of course dabbled in acting on a few occasions, with the most famous occasion being the Lifetime TV movie where she first ended up meeting her now husband Eddie Cibrian. She also is coming off a questionable performance on “The X Factor” season 2 finale last year, and she could use this opportunity to really show everyone what she’s got (as some other past guest-stars have)

But will LeAnn actually succeed with the primary rule that comes with being on a sitcom: Being funny? We don’t know the answer to that just yet, but given that there are occasionally problems on this show drawing laughs as it is, she may have a good chance to elevate the material.
