‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: What will Tony and Ziva be up to?

We all know that “NCIS” is an extremely popular show. The recent ratings that have it as the most-watched show on TV again prove that. However, it is also becoming more and more clear that this is among the more frustrating shows on TV. We’re ten seasons in, and it is still not clear whether or not Tony and Ziva are finally going to get together after all of the tension between them.

Moving into season 11, the good news is that there is a perfect opportunity for the two to get together, based on the fact that they are going to be free from some of the rules that previously bound them. But does this actually mean that there will be movement in their personal lives? For now, executive producer Gary Glasberg will not say; however, he did at least (per TVLine) tease that there will be some answers that happen when the show airs in September:

“The season opener is going to take us from where we left off all the way up to the point where we’re seeing Gibbs [behind a rifle] … There will be a portion in which they’re still resigned, and then it’ll develop from there. I don’t want to give too much away about the opener yet, but we’ll learn what happened with Tony and Ziva and McGee, I promise.”

There are going to be some big moments coming up in the new season, and the real hope is that the characters will be present for them. Even though Cote de Pablo is not currently signed on for another season, Glasberg sure seems to be speaking as though she will return.
