Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ performance unsurprisingly draws complaints

Britain's Got TalentIf you think the broadcast standards in the United States are strict, just try to compare them to what goes on when it comes to live television in Britain. Last year, there was a big to-do about “The X Factor” judge Tulisa Contostavlos, and it was because she had the name of her fragrance “The Female Boss” tattooed on her arm. (Shocking, we know.) So from just about the first second that Jennifer Lopez exposed the better part of her rear end to everyone sitting in the audience at Tuesday’s “Britain’s Got Talent” live show, we knew that there was going to be serious trouble from everyone who has a natural tendency to complain left and right.

“Ofcom”, who is basically the watchdog company of Britain, has already confirmed that they have received complaints about the ensemble in which J.Lo chose to wear, but as of this time there is no confirmation that they are actually going to do anything about it. While this outfit teetered a little bit on the racy side, it’s really not anything that different than what we have seen countless other celebrities do on TV in the past.

At the end of the day, we figure that the last sort of problem that anyone is going to have with this performance is with what Lopez was wearing, but rather the quality of the vocals. Yes, she had an enormous backing track in there … but if were being honest, this was miles better than the majority of her performances have been over the past few months.

What do you think about J.Lo’s outfit? Was it too racy, or could you care a less what people wear? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! Also, you can read our full review of Tuesday’s results show over at the link here.
