‘The Bachelorette’: Desiree Hartsock castoff talks elimination, behavior

What happened? -It seems like every season on “The Bachelorette,” there is one contestant who manages to make a complete and total fool out of themselves when it comes to what they say and do on the show. Last season on Sean Lowe’s season, it was that “50 Shades of Grey” girl who ended up getting herself so drunk that she had to leave the building. Before that, we had the embarrassment known as the drunk Tim disaster.

So who was the unlucky man this time around? It was a man who we hilariously thought would be one of her biggest contenders before this season started. Instead, he repeatedly went on and on about trying to get Desiree Hartsock into some makeshift “fantasy suite” that he’d created within the house, which caused her to ship him off for making her ultimately feel uncomfortable.

So what was his excuse after the fact? While he at least takes responsibility for his actions on Twitter, he also admits (no surprise here) that alcohol had a role to play:

“Note to self and future #bachelorette misters: not the proper venue for getting hammered and/or trying to get laid. #baddecisions”

For those of you looking to get a little more insight into what really happens on this night, know this: The first night in the mansion is extremely long, and you oftentimes are very hungry and the show provides plenty of booze. So what happens? People drink a lot, and then crazy things happy. Based on the results of this move, producers clearly would not have it any other way.

Do you buy what the fantasy-suite man is selling, or is there a part of you that makes you wonder why in the world these people on the show never learn? Do you think that he was planted by production to create drama? Desiree has also spoken out about her adventures the first night, and you can read some more about that over at the link here.
