ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Will Emily earn Jack’s trust back?

When “Revenge” season 2 came to a close earlier this month, there was one thought that came into our brain almost immediately: A certain Emily Thorne, Amanda Clarke, or whatever else you want to call her is in some pretty big trouble. While she seemingly did manage to find a way to convince Jack Porter to not assassinate Conrad Grayson upon him winning the election for Governor, there is still a question as to how she is going to live now with the idea of Jack knowing the truth about who she really is.

As for how Jack is going to react immediately to this revelation, it’s not going to be pretty, at least based on what Nick Wechsler (who plays the part) had to say in a new chat with TV Guide:

“I think he’s going to be hurt and not trust her … She’s got to earn his trust back. If he does team up with her, it’s only because they have a common enemy, not because she’s out of the doghouse.”

The one thing that we at least feel reasonably confident about for now is that Emily will probably not have to worry about Jack ratting her out about her secret. There’s no incentive for him to do so, since the only thing that he would get out of ratting her out is a bizarre sort of revenge of his own, given that he was married to a fake Amanda, but like him, the real Amanda wants to take down Conrad, and do so in a way that will not in turn ruin the rest of her life.
