‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Good news for Zoe / Wade fans?

If you love “Hart of Dixie,” there’s a pretty good chance that you ship Zoe with somebody, whether it be Wade, George, or some other character that puts you in the minority. But let’s face it: Didn’t the “Zade” train pick up quite a few new passengers throughout the show’s second season? Even though the two broke up, it is hard to say that this was anything short of a pretty successful pairing between the two parties … and for the show.

As for how this will apply to season 3, just know that despite a rather frustrating cliffhanger ending, the two are not in any form over for good and will be moving into the story next year. Speaking to TVLine, Wilson Bethel explains that seeing some sort of “scenario” unfold between Wade and Rachel Bilson’s character “seems pretty logical” (whatever that means), and that he more than understands why the show decided to cut things off in the way that the writers did, saying that “it’s probably good that there’s a bit of anticipation about what she will do.”

But how long will it take before a winner among Zoe’s male suitors starts to fully emerge? We would be personally surprised if someone rises up and declares themselves victor right away, mostly because relationships are the sort of thing that take time, and there is still the cheating thing hanging over their heads. However, there should be some chances for Wade to make a move, and potentially show that he’s not just some irresponsible dud that likes to take his shirt off all of the time.
