‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: Could Jim Beaver’s Bobby really come back?
If you look at the vast majority of TV shows out there, fans would be up in arms about the notion of someone coming back into the world of the show after dying. “It’s just not realistic,” many of them would babble on, saying that a fictional world needs to have its own set of limitations.
In the case of some programs out there, they are clearly correct. However, “Supernatural” is a different sort of beast with Heaven, Hell, other worlds, and infinite possibilities. The imaginative quality of it is one of the very reasons why this show has become so popular in the first place. Plus, they have clearly already brought people back (see Castiel) after what appears to be certain death. Why not do the same thing in season 9 with someone else … such as Bobby?
At the moment, executive producer Jeremy Carver is not necessarily denying a return to the show for Jim Beaver, who appeared in one episode this past season in which his character was transferred out of Hell. As a matter of fact, he even said the following about the possibility while speaking in a brand-new interview with Screen Rant:
“You know, we were saying all season, ‘You never know what’s going to happen to Bobby,’ and I think we’ve found a – I can’t believe I’m going to say this word – believable way to bring him back from Hell. I think now that Bobby is presumably in Heaven that it certainly does open up the question of whether or not we might see him again.’”
It is clear that the show’s producers and Beaver still have a strong relationship. He was one of the actors who appeared at the Comic-Con event last summer, and this was with his participation in the new season in question.
What do you think: Could Bobby’s return to “Supernatural” be a great thing? The show is airing on Tuesdays next year if you have not heard, and there is plenty more news on this very subject over here.

Don’t see why Bobby can’t return seeings how he is in Heaven and the Angels where cast out. They have brought so many back from “the dead” Not impossible to think Bobby could also come back.

I think they will use the demon/angel child in season 9 or at least they should

with the stuff that bobby did in the past seasons… it wouldn’t be TOO surprising if he actually made it to angel status would it??? like when medatron says to castiel “if you make it back here as angel, find me…” if bobby made angel status an all the angels just got booted out of heaven…. i think most will see my logic here…

Dean has this necklace that he throw away, but what if the necklave has the power to bring back people from dead and reborn again. SAM retrieves the necklace… What IF if IF Dean some how travels or sneeks into heaven and looks for Bobby with a little help from ASH & PAM, to ask Bobby to return with him and with the power of the necklace, his body and spirits are reborn and back on earth once again to fight for heaven and fallin angels. Thats just my thought…

to be honest, the whole necklace idea doesn’t stand a lot of potential and I wish they never bring it back again, well, in that big of a way. it’s just a stupid piece of plastic that annoyed Jensen Ackles while filmingh.

They have brought Sam, Dean and Cas back to life. Its only fitting they bring back Bobby at least once. The fans will love it!
