Big Brother 25: Was Red Utley evicted in week 5?

Big Brother 25

Entering tonight’s Big Brother 25 episode, we had every indication that Red Utley would be evicted — even if there was some drama along the way. It felt like last night, things were going to be a little bit straightforward, but that was before Felicia and Mecole hatched an idea to try to flip the vote back to Jag as the target. Because of this, there were conversations about the vote being 6-4 and after the fact, there being a lot of people trying to claim responsibility for certain votes.

In the end, we’re talking here about mass confusion, which could give us one of the most entertaining nights on the feeds in a while (provided these people don’t let us down).

So what actually happened during the show? We were honestly begging for anything other than a unanimous vote in the end.

So what actually happened here?

The show didn’t cover a lot of what was going to happen tonight, including the potential split vote among the players. As it turns out, we didn’t get as crazy a split as we were expecting, based on the fact that Felicia and Mecole did vote to evict Red. Based on that, we tend to think that there were some events that happened in the time leading up to the eviction that we did not see. Cameron and Bowie Jane were the only two left out of the vote.

So did Red live up to his claims that he was going to blow up Felicia’s game on his way out the door? Sadly no, and this was yet another case of someone making a hollow threat and depriving us of some good TV.
