‘Glee’ season 4 finale spoilers: Blake Jenner on catfishing cliffhanger; season 5 hope
What’s set to happen on the “Glee” finale? We don’t know the answer to that just yet, but one of the show’s best new additions is certainly doing his part to hype up what should be a pretty interesting end to the season.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Blake Jenner made it clear that while there would be some resolution when it comes to the catfishing story that has plagued him for much of the second half of the year, and also that he was shocked when he first read the script for it, there would also be some sort of cliffhanger that would take the story into season five.
But is Ryder Lynn really going to be a major player in the upcoming season? Both Jenner, along with us, hopes that this is the case:
“I don’t know anything for sure but I’m hoping I get to tell Ryder’s story more in season five. The plan is to pick up right where we left off after Regionals and gearing up for Nationals. You don’t know if they’re going to win or going to Nationals or if it’s jealousy of another team going to Nationals and make due with what they’ve got. The finale [is] filled with surprises.”
We don’t want to overstate this, but we hope that Jenner is the first “Glee Project” alum to ever be handed a series regular promotion, given that his story has been by far the most interesting out of any character brought on from the Oxygen series. Ryder is a likable, interesting guy, especially since he has a back-story that makes him much more than what you would expect from a high school student who looks reasonably normal.
What do you think: Should we have more of Ryder, even to a point where a promotion is in order? If you want to read even more scoop on the upcoming “Glee” finale in terms of music, be sure to visit the link here.
