‘Dancing with the Stars 16’ results: Did Sean Lowe survive low-scoring night?

Sean LoweTuesday night’s “Dancing with the Stars” episode presented to us a rather interesting case. Out of all of the remaining contestants, Sean Lowe was the only one that we could guarantee had been forced into sitting in the bottom two. When you combine that with the fact that he had the lowest scores of the night by a pretty decent margin, you would assume that the star of “The Bachelor” would leave the show without a rose … right?

From the start of the show, it was pretty clear that Sean was probably going to be the guy sent packing. When the show announced early on that Ingo Rademacher was declared safe, there was one question our mind: Why reveal this so early in the show? Ingo was the only dancer close to Sean when it comes to dance ability, and there was no way that someone like Kellie Pickler or Aly Raisman would go home over him.

The show did at least tried to create some drama from here on out, with there still being a tiny part of our brain asking ourselves if there was about to be something truly crazy go down. If either one of the two aforementioned ladies left the show at this point, it’d be one of the most stunning exits ever in the competition’s history.

In the end, this was the least-surprising exit ever. The good thing for Sean is that he has an opportunity to actually go home and spend some time with his fiancee Catherine Giudici, and move forward after almost a full five months in the spotlight.
